Nomaco's continuous drive to develop new products for unique applications stems from the company's entrepreneurial culture, the ever changing business climate and the evolving needs of the marketplace. A few of the industries we service include: transportation, recreation, agriculture, toys, packaging, construction, marine and OEM appliance. Tizbi, Inc. (d.b.a. ISS, Inc.) implemented Nomaco's warehouse management system to solve one of Nomaco's biggest problems--knowing what inventory was available for customers in real-time. Since Nomaco ships products directly to distributors, including Wal-Mart and Home Depot, they depend on accurate information. ISS integrated the ISSBarcode system to allow users to issue Advanced Ship Notices (ASNs) to recipients of their products within two hours of the shipping truck's departure. The functional design of ISSBarcode, Microsoft's SQL Server and the advantages of Microsoft's Visual Basic and .net applications helped to implement this cost-reduction feature. Nomaco also needed to eliminate the grueling task of taking yearly physical inventories . This process took several days each year and often required overtime and weekend work, which resulted in staff frustration and costly overtime pay. With the ISSBarcode system in place, Nomaco now has financial auditors who evaluate the inventory process, verify inventory accuracy and sign off on inventory reports through the system. This reduces costly overtime pay and increases efficiency. No more manual counting and guess work. Nomaco has five large facilities in the US that connect back to one central ERP system. Nomaco employees can now watch Purchase Orders being received and Sales Orders being shipped in real-time from anywhere in the Nomaco network. Nomaco's customers consider Nomaco the technological leader in engineered polymer foam extrusions for some of the following reasons: First in the profile foam industry to eliminate ozone-damaging CFCs (chlorofluorocarbons) and HCFCs (hydrochlorofluorocarbons) by offering environmentally-safe recyclable products. Nomaco designs profiles to help optimize fabrication and conversion efficiency, reducing the waste of the end foam Products/rod/product. Nomaco develops numerous patented foam extrusion processes, resulting in unique, high-performance, engineered polymer foams for the industry. The hundreds of new products developed by Nomaco each year attribute to 30% of Nomaco's overall sales.

TrialCard's mission is to deliver the most effective alternative sampling programs for the pharmaceutical industry. Trialcard’s voucher, card, coupon, and rebate programs have been integrated into sales and marketing campaigns with 22 pharmaceutical manufacturers. TrialCard provides innovative solutions and comprehensive data to maximize results. Servicing the pharmaceutical industry, TizbiTrax understands the demands of precision management. TizbiTrax works to minimize errors and mazimize profit in the assembly, storage and shipment of large volumes of pharmaceutical sampling products. The integrated TizbiTrax solution works with Trialcard’s information systems to: prevent production and shipment errors, monitor complex business rules and provide precise and reliable information about inventory and shipments in real time. TizbiTrax is also directly integrated to FedEx, and can therefore provide shipping labels and tracking numbers. These logical steps are added to TizbiTrax' transactional workflow to save users time and money. The system is tightly integrated into the enterprise data infrastructure, providing numerous valuable data points to several company departments. Currently, the implementation is still in progress.
A nomacorc® is a foamed co-extruded still wine closure based on a highly elastic chemically inert polymer formulation. nomacorcs can be found in both the still wine and distilled spirits industries. With distribution in more than 35 countries throughout the globe, nomacorc represents more than 30% of the synthetic closure market. Nomacorc is HACCP accredited and ISO registered. Nomacorc is committed to the prevention of food related hazards and has proactively implemented HACCP measures at both its US and Belgium facilities. Our integrated Inventory Management Solution for Nomacorc manages multiple aspects of production, storage and shipment of products. This management occurs in controlled environments, including a tight integration between Nomacorc's US and Belgium facilities. Our unique “Transaction Exchange” engine gives users the ability to share large amounts of low level inventory information as inventory is transferred. Inventory transactions are also linked to the company’s MRP package and other information systems; therefore, there is an automatic exchange of data in real time.
Audio Advice has been the premier home entertainment source for the Triangle area of North Carolina since 1978. Audio Advice has received numerous industry awards, including: 2006 Best Home Media System Retailer by Metro Magazine, 2005 Lexicon Dealer of the Year, and 2005 Genelec Custom Retail Dealer of the Year. For Audio Advice, our inventory control system was customized in order to meet the business requirements of the entertainment industry. The system's simple integration module allowed us to easily adapt it to match the business practices of the customer, and support both the retail and installation aspects of the company. Successful implementation factors for this scenario include: relatively low total system ownership costs, high reliability and quality of the product which showed close to 100% uptime with minimum to no support.
