What is a Warehouse Management System (WMS)?

A WMS is a computerized system that is designed to assist businesses in managing their inventories while maintaining accuracy.

"An inventory control system is an integrated package of software and hardware used in warehouse operations, and elsewhere, to monitor the quantity, location and status of inventory as well as the related shipping, receiving, picking and put-away processes. In common usage, the term may also refer to just the software components. Modern inventory control systems rely upon barcodes and potentially RFID tags, to provide automatic identification of inventory objects. Inventory objects could include any kind of physical asset: merchandise, consumables, fixed assets, circulating tools, library books, or capital equipment. To record an inventory transaction, the system uses a barcode scanner or RFID reader to automatically identify the inventory object, and then collects additional information from the operators via fixed terminals (workstations), or mobile computers."

Why it is important to have real-time WMS?

How do I upgrade to Enterprise Edition?

Your current TizbiTrax application will remain operational, and there will be no need for reconfiguration. The login screen will change to display the name of your new TizbiTrax edition, which will then be activated.

Do I need a configured wireless network and barcode hardware to access TizbiTrax?

No. You can access all TizbiTrax features from your PC prior to deciding on your hardware and network.

Where can I get barcoding hardware?

Tizbi, Inc. offers multiple hardware products. Please contact our Sales and Marketing Consultant, who will assist you in selecting hardware and networking equipment that will best suit your company. If you choose to purchase hardware through Tizbi, the equipment will be shipped with a pre-installed TizbiTrax client application, thus minimizing your start-up time and efforts.

Do you offer TizbiTrax training?

Yes. We offer WebEx TizbiTrax training sessions, which are conducted via the internet. Enterprise Edition users are given one free training session.

What if my business processes do not exactly match the flow of TizbiTrax transactions?

Please contact us and we will carefully explore and analyze your situation. TizbiTrax has an extensive library of transactions that is still growing. We periodically update our library as we learn new transaction logic variations from our existing customers. We likely have your process, or a similar process, already available in our library. Our business rules engine allows us to control many aspects of transactional flow with the use of “flags.” Flags are flexible database switches that allow us to change the logic without writing or changing code. If a similar logic cannot be found, we can discuss options for creating a custom logic for your business.

How do you integrate TizbiTrax with information running behind the firewall?
